OpenRouter Usage

Terms of Use

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of OpenRouter Usage. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean OpenRouter Usage’s developer, who makes and releases the app under the name Carmel App Studio.

An independent app

OpenRouter Usage is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed, or sponsored by OpenRouter, Inc., and the name OpenRouter is used only to describe the service the app works with. Your OpenRouter account — including your credits, keys, and billing — is governed by OpenRouter's own terms, not these. For questions about your account or its charges, contact OpenRouter.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use OpenRouter Usage on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app.

Your key

To see real figures you need your own OpenRouter account and a Management API key. You are responsible for that key and for activity on your OpenRouter account. The app uses the key only to read credit and usage information, and never creates, changes, or deletes keys. A Management key is still a powerful credential: keep your iPhone protected with a passcode, and revoke the key on OpenRouter if your device is lost.

Figures are for information

Balances and spend come from OpenRouter and are summarised by the app. They can be delayed, incomplete, or rounded, and they may differ from OpenRouter's own dashboard: days follow UTC, and widgets update only when iOS allows. OpenRouter's records are the authority on what you have spent and what you owe. Do not rely on the app alone to prevent overspending or to check whether a charge is correct.

Service availability

The app depends on OpenRouter's API, which OpenRouter may change, limit, or withdraw. If that happens, some or all figures may be unavailable until the app is updated, and we cannot promise an update will always be possible.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use OpenRouter Usage. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Purchases

OpenRouter Usage is a paid app, bought once from the App Store. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription. The app does not sell OpenRouter credits; those are bought from OpenRouter directly. Billing and refunds for the app follow Apple's App Store policies; request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Intellectual property

OpenRouter Usage, its design, text, and artwork are ours and are protected by copyright. OpenRouter and other product names belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including charges on your OpenRouter account. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may update the app or these terms; the date above will change when we do. You may stop using OpenRouter Usage at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
